My Hines Family


These are my great-great grandparents on my father's mother's side. My grandma Bessie's father was **Isam Hines. This is an excerpt from the 1880 Federal census when they were living in the Frierson/Gloster area of DeSoto Parish.

William Hines(VA)>Joshua Hines(VA)>Isham Hines(NC)>Little Berry Hines>(SC)William Micheal Hines(GA)>George Hines(GA)Sherman C. Hines(AL)

William, Joshua, Isham and Littleberry Hines were all white men, William,George and my grandfather Sherman C. Hines were some of their black sons. Please contact me if you would like further info.
